The Red Tide we encountered on N. Padre Island, Texas has subsequently caused Dad’s health to deteriorate to a point where he is having major problems just breathing. Sleep has become almost impossible so we have been forced to head towards the closest major VA Hospital (San Antonio, Texas). Yes, we have departed La Manzanilla and have headed back to the United States via Brownsville, Texas.
